May Luz F. Bullecer, M.D.

Dr. May Luz Bullecer is a co-founder of Athens Geriatrics and Internal Medicine, P.C. in 2007 with a goal to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to enhance the health and well-being of our patients as they age. She completed Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at the Cebu Institute of Medicine, a top medical school in the Philippines. She then moved to New York and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Lincoln Hospital under the program of Weill Cornell Medical College. She also completed her Geriatrics Fellowship at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center under New York Medical College program. She has been practicing Geriatrics and Internal Medicine in Georgia since 2003.

Dr. Bullecer has extensive inpatient experience making rounds and seeing patients at the hospitals for almost 2 decades before the Hospitalist service was started in the surrounding hospitals. She also had been the former Medical Director at Pruitt Health Athens Heritage Nursing Facility.

In her free time, she likes spending time with her family and is an active member of Couples for Christ (CFC).
