Dr. Mark Jerome Paradela is the founder of Athens Geriatrics and Internal Medicine in 2007, with his wife, Dr. May Luz Bullecer.

Dr. Paradela graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Technology at Velez College for his pre-med education. He had his medical degree at the Cebu Institute of Medicine and his Internship at the Philippine General Hospital.

He did his Residency training at the Atlanticare Atlantic City Medical Center, Atlantic City,
